Ex-Professional Rugby Union Player
Josh has been a member of RAW for the past three and a half years, as well as being a part of numerous strength & conditioning programmes, through rugby union.
Josh believes that our strength and conditioning systems are up there with the best. The right amount of variety to challenge even the most seasoned athlete. Seeing members push their mental capacity to the absolute limit is something ‘Coach Cookie' thrives on, because he knows that mental resilience will not only make you a stronger athlete, but a more well-rounded person as well.
Cassia joined RAW in November 2018 because she was looking for a place where she wouldn’t 'just exercise’. Cassia found the right spot. She found a place to lift heavy, move powerfully, build speed and endurance, all while being surrounded by a supportive and like-minded community.
Cassia began as an intern, but is now a fully fledged member of the crew at RAW. She whole-heartedly believes in their mission and wants to be a part of it: performance over aesthetics, teamwork and community, and constant improvement through hard work and good movement.
Matanoko finds weightlifting both challenging and rewarding, and that’s one of the main reasons why she enjoys coaching and competing. Being able to see improvement in people and watching them realise their potential is so heartwarming as a coach and an athlete.
'Noko' is currently coaching Olympic Weightlifting, personal training and studying. She also proudly represents her country of the Cook Islands in Olympic Weightlifting.
