    I first joined RAW at the beginning of 2022 after losing motivation to continue with my own gym sessions. I went in for a free 7 day trial and never looked back. I have never experience an environment that is so supportive and motivating!

    The programming at RAW is next level! It has helped me smash all of my personal goals and build my strength to levels I never thought I could achieve. All of the workouts have different options/variations so you can scale to your own ability and push yourself. Not only is the programming amazing, but the coaches at RAW are all very knowledgeable and know how to get the best from everyone. My favourite classes are the strength development, but it is great to have the option of CrossFit and weightlifting classes.

    The RAW whānau is like no other and I genuinely look forward to my 5:30am wake ups, because I get to workout and hangout with the best crew!

    My interest in joining and training at RAW came from the group fitness component of classes.

    I’ve always struggled to find the motivation to train by myself. Whereas at RAW, I’ve been able to select a class that suits my schedule, come and workout with like minded people, motivational coaches and just allow myself to have a fresh outlook on exercise.

    The introduction of Raw Fit and Olympic lifting has been hugely successful and beneficial. From technique sessions, to enhancing your skills and understanding of a certain movement. These factors are what places RAW in my books ahead of other gyms!

    I joined RAW Fitness early 2021, knowing no one and now a year and half on can’t imagine a life without it. What I’ve learnt inside the gym translates into many aspects of life outside of the gym and sets the foundation for good habits.

    The programming offers diversity in different types of training/recovery and is inclusive of all levels of ability, injuries and ages. Scaled options are always available and similarly, if you’re wanting a push mentally or physically that option is always there.

    RAW wouldn’t be what it is without the coaches and all that they do for us. The progress and success of members is a direct reflection of the coaches knowledge and passion for what they do.

    RAW is a gym I’m really proud to be part of - getting up early in the morning becomes super easy when you get to train in such a supportive environment, surrounded by a community who double as family.

    My interest in joining Raw Fitness came from the strength and conditioning style of training that was offered and I love how the programming focuses on progressing through a block to come out at testing week best prepared to break your PBs. I have found the vibe within the team and trainers is supportive and motivating which has been critical to keeping me turning up consistently.

    My favourite classes are the 6am strength development sessions. I’m loving the recent move to 3 weekly sessions, each with a different focus, giving me greater opportunity to target my goals.

    Through the programming structure, professional advice and positive energy I have experienced at Raw, I have seen major progress in all of my compound lifts, as well as starting to see some improved technique in a number of more complex movements.

    When I moved to the mount I was ready for a change in my training. I knew that RAW was exactly what I was looking for even after my first session. With the variation of strength and conditioning as well as cardio it created goals to work towards and sessions where you can mentally and physically push yourself. You also have coaches there to teach you the right technique who are incredibly motivating.

    There is always a great vibe in the gym, no matter what time of the day you go. The community there is second to none and makes the gym experience there so much better. A big part of me staying consistant now is also just wanting to be around everyones energy. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging of you trying to better yourself whether that be perfecting a movement or hitting a PB.

    When I first moved to the Bay last year I was looking for a shake up in my fitness routine… enter Raw! Raw has challenged not only my physical ability but my mental strength as well. I value the focus on technique and doing things the right way, and feel as though I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.

    I love the 6 am class and getting a sweat on before my work day. I always leave there feeling invigorated and ready to conquer the day. I have also loved switching the mornings up for an afternoon session every now and then, and the environment is always buzzing! I love that I workout with like minded-people that want to see me succeed!

    The RawFit classes would have to be my fave as I love the combination of cardio and strength and really pushing myself!
